My approach to working is based around what you bring, while drawing on a range of different theories that are relevant to the work. This is often referred to as integrative therapy; the schools of thought that I primarily draw on are existential, analytic, alongside phenomenological and humanistic. I work with a number of theories because I recognise that there is not a one size fits all in therapy.

As a therapist it is rare to self-disclose, however as a Paralympian who competed at the London 2012 Paralympic games it is difficult to not acknowledge as there is information readily available. I am still the vice captain of the GB Women's Sitting volleyball team. As a person with an acquired hidden disability, disability is an area of interest.
